1) How did you choose your wedding colours/theme? 

 

I've always loved the colour blue, and the light blue felt like a perfect choice to match the season and feel of our venue. I also felt it tied in well with our rustic theme which is something I knew I'd always want for my wedding.

 

 

 

 

2) How long did you have to plan your wedding and was it enough time?

 

We took 2 and a half years to plan the wedding. It was more than enough time without having to stress too much about deadlines. Booking far in advance also meant we were able to take advantage of that season's prices, which inevitably rose over the next two years.

 

 

 

3) What was your favourite part of the wedding planning process?

 

Honestly? It being over! Although I loved going to wedding fairs and meeting people.

 

 

 

 

 

4) What was the best moment of your wedding day?

 

Seeing my husband standing at the end of the aisle and my father meeting me at the bottom of the staircase to take me across to the barn to my husband.

 

 

 

 

 

 

5) We’re really honoured that we got to be a part of your special day! Why did you choose Thedaintyard?

 

The dresses are unique to each person, my ladies were all various heights and figures and I wanted them to feel comfortable and beautiful. Rather than try to make them all fit to one dress and it's style, I felt it better the dress fit them and their style. They were all able to choose how they wanted their dress to look!

 

6) What advice would you give to other bride’s planning their wedding? 

 

Please you and your husband to be. NOT everyone else. Yes, be thoughtful and kind. But ultimately, it is YOUR day and one of the biggest days of you and your fiancé's life.
